Garfield Theodore Baker

80, of Newcombville, Lunenburg County, passed away November 16, 2001, in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Baker Settlement, he was a son of the late Malcolm and Ida (Veinot) Baker. He is survived by his wife Florence (Power);  daughter Diane (Greg) Pottie; grandson Michael; granddaughter Maureen, all of Bedford; sister Marion Getson, Springfield He was predeceased by sisters, Arlene Nowe, Shirley Keddy, Lillian (Jippie) Lohnes; brothers, Herbert and Charles. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Monday in All Saints Lutheran Church, Newcombville, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial will follow in the Newcombville Cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice through the funeral home or at www.sweenysfuneralhome.com
