Barbara Jean Corkum-Haines

68, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, died December 14, 2001 at home. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late John and Nettie Reid. She is survived by daughters, Janet (David) Croft, Blockhouse; Patricia (Martin) McCarthy, Oakhill; son Doug (Joanne) Corkum, Fancy Lake; grandchildren, Jonathan Croft, Bradley McCarthy and Kristen Corkum; step-daughters, Paulette Gendron, Bridgewater; Pamela Creighton, Glen Haven; Roberta Haines, Bridgewater; step-sons Kevin Haines, Coldbrook; Garnett Haines, Hacketts Cove; 8 step-grandchildren; 1 step-great grandchild. She was predeceased by his first husband, Roy Corkum; second husband, Robert Haines; brothers Darrah and Joe; sisters, Marion, Marg and Della. Visitation will be held Monday from 7 to 8pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Memorial service will be held 1pm Tuesday in Bridgewater United Church, Rev Ivan Norton officiating. Family burial will follow in Hebbville Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only.
