Bert Maxwell Dauphinee

87, of West Northfield, passed away November 22, 2001 in the Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany. Born in Lower Northfield, he was the son of the late Arkanas and Maude (Eichel) Dauphinee. He owned and operated the Turkey Burger in Cookville for over 25 years. He received his 50year jewel from St Mark’s Lodge in Halifax. He was a member of Acacia Lodge #39, Antiquity Perceptory Lodge and the South Shore Shrine Club. He is survived by daughters, Erna (Wilfred) Joudrey, West Northfield; Patricia, (Cyril) Mayo, West Northfield; a son Arthur (Jayne), Auburndale; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald, Upper LaHave; Lester, Barss Corner. He was predeceased by his wife, Ivy (Oickle); a daughter in infancy; brothers, Evans, Malcolm, Wallace, Owen, Albert, Harry; sister Carrie. Visitation will be held 2-4 PM Saturday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral will be held 1:30 pm Sunday from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, West Northfield, Rev. Gloria McClure-Fraser officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield. Family flowers by request.
