E. Lois DeMone

77, of Bridgewater, passed away May 13, 2001 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in St. Mary’s Rd, PEI, she was a daughter of the late James and Hazel (MacLean) McCarron. She is survived by her sons Churchill Page, Digby; Kevin DeMone, Calgary; daughters Connie Corkum, Halifax County; Linda Blades, Lockeport; Dianne Hanley, Bridgewater; 9 grandchildren, Robyne, Joanne, Daniel, Natasha, Graham, Daniel, Elise, Adam and Jessica; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Irene Campbell, Charlottetown; brothers Dan McCarron, Dartmouth; Willard McCarron, British Columbia; Leith McCarron, St. Mary’s Rd, PEI She was predeceased by her husband Frank DeMone; grandson Nicholas Dylan Blades; six brothers Gerald, Cyril, Reg, Thomas, Harvey, and Milton. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater, with father Michael Walsh officiating. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation or to the charity of choice.
