92,
of Chester, formerly of Conquerall Bank, died October 3, 2001 in the
South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he
was a son of the late Spurgeon and Sadie (Sainsbury) Harlow. He was
employed with the CNR as a trainman for several years and enjoyed farming
and the outdoors. He is survived by 2 daughters, Jean, Mrs. Michael
Johnston, Chester; Pat, Mrs. Michael Corkum, Atlanta, Georgia; a son
Frank (Gina), Conquerall Bank; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren;
daughter-in-law Shirley Harlow, Bridgewater; a sister Myrtle Watson,
Newcombville; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his
wife Helen (Selig); son Maxwell Jr., sisters Emma Harlow, Ruth Wentzell,
Harriet Hebb; brothers Frank, Charlie, Clarence and Scott; infant great
great granddaughter Hannah Taylor. Visitation will be 7 to 9pm Friday
in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service
will be 11am Saturday, Rev. Penny Kelpic officiating. Burial will follow
in the Maple Leaf Cemetery, Conquerall Bank. Family flowers only. Memorial
donations may be made to the Bridgewater United Baptist Church or the
N S Alzheimer Society or any charity.
