Hilton Edger Lohnes

79, of Upper Northfield, passed away August 29, 2001 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Upper Northfield, he was the son of the late Harvey Alonzo and Emma Ethelyne (Lohnes) Lohnes. He owned and operated Lohnes Texaco and Ultra Mar in Upper Northfield. He is survived by his brothers Cyril, Upper Northfield; Cedric, Maitland; two nephews and a niece. He was predeceased by brothers, James and Cameron. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A private family graveside service will be held in the Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield, with Rev. James Slack Jr. officiating. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Upper Northfield, or to the Asthma Society. Arrangements are entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
