Laurie Carlton MacKay

85, of Union Square, passed away January 7, 2001 in the Harbour View Haven , Home for Special Care, Lunenburg . Born in Union Square, he was a son of the late Angus and Olivia ( Silver ) MacKay. He was a member of the New Germany Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Marion Schofield; a brother Lemuel, Wentzell Lake; a sister Greta Dorey, Pinehurst. He is predeceased by brothers, Clarence, Willie and Ira. Visitation will be today from 2 to 4pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:30pm in the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Upper Northfield, Rev. William Gustafson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church or any charity.
