P. Sidney Osborne

92, of Oakhill, passed away March 8, 2001 in the Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany. Born in Auburndale, he was the son of the late Alexander and Bessie (Fancy) Osborne. He was one of the founding members of the Oakhill and District Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, the former Leda Oickle; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Margaret Ernst. A graveside funeral service will be held 2pm Monday in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater, Rev. Penny Bailey officiating. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to the Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany or the charity of choice. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater
