Vernon Owen Wentzell

88 of Midville Branch, Lunenburg County, passed away November 6, 2001 in the Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay. Born in Midville Branch, he was a son of the late Albert and Jessie (Snyder) Wentzell. He is survived by3 sons, Roger (Shiela), Hemford; Rex (Sharon); Riverport; John, Midville Branch; 3 daughters, Carol Weagle, Newburne; Vera Oickle, Midville Branch; Deborah (Avard) Foster, Midville Branch; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Doran (Grace), Martin Point and Foster. He was predeceased by his wife Helen (Sperry); son Medford; a daughter, Marguerite Poirier; sisters, Gladys, Marguerite, Alda; brother Charles; grandsons, Monte and Michael; great granddaughter Ginger. Visitation will be today from 3 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, Rev. Dr. Thomas Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Pine Cemetery, Upper Branch. No flowers by request.
