Gilbert Eleazer "Toby" Zinck

74, of Cookville, Lunenburg County, passed away September 19, 2001 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. He was born in First South, Lunenburg County. He was a veteran of the Second World War having served with the Merchant Marine. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; sons, Kevin, Bridgewater; Toby, Cookville; Tommy, Herring Cove; Scott, Dayspring; Danny, Bridgewater; Mike, Annapolis Valley; daughters, Gail Wentzell, Hebbville; Connie Herman, Italy Cross; sister Irene Nettler, Vermont; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his aunt and uncle Evelyn and Stewart Nowe. Visitation will be held today from 3 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, Rev. Dr. Thomas Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to the N. S. Heart and Stroke Foundation or any charity.
