Marion Myrtle Acker

79, of Hastings Road, Springfield, Annapolis County, passed away November 12, 2002 at home. Born in Brookfield, she was a daughter of the late Archibald and Lulu (Hirtle) Crouse. She is survived by daughters, Betty (James) Durling, Falkland Ridge; Muriel (Mervin) Robar, Hebbs Cross; Shirley Robar, North River; Faye (companion Raymond Pye) Mason, Hastings Road; sons, Donald (Bonnie Jean), Squamish, B.C.; Roland (Linda) East Dalhousie; Kenneth (Carola), New Germany; 24 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sister, Goldie Wagner, North River; brother, Burgess Crouse, Nineveh. She was predeceased by 3 great grandchildren and a sister, Evelyn Smith. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 Rte. 10, New Germany. Funeral service will be held 2pm Friday in Springfield Baptist Church, Rev. Robert Gates officiating, assisted by Rev. Brian Wheaton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Springfield Baptist Church, Springfield Fire Department, N S Diabetic Association or the charity of your choice.
