Laura Mildred Davis (Cann)

87, of Bedford, passed away peacefully December 19, 2002. Born in North Sydney, October 31, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Parker and Isabel Cann. Mildred graduated from the former Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing 1941. Mildred was the beloved wife of the late Paul Trueman Davis. Loving mother of sons, Frank (Barbara), Halifax; Bill Vancouver; Jim (Sharon), Bridgewater; daughter, Elizabeth (Michael) Murray, Calgary. She is also survived by her sister Melba Gowda, North Sydney; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She is resting in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. No visitation. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, December 23, in Bridgewater United Church, Hillcrest St. Bridgewater, Rev. Ivan Norton officiating.
