Helen Mary Fowler

77, of Upper LaHave, Lunenburg County, passed away January 20, 2002 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Penticton, B.C., she was a daughter of the late Curtis and Elizabeth (Read) McKeen. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Peter; 2 sons, Randy (Vicki), Terrace, B.C.; Clay (Henri), Dartmouth; 2 daughters, Lee Fowler, Canning; Joy (Colin) Lockhart, Bristol, N.B.; grandchildren, Meghan, Richard, Ransford, Gillian and Jocelyn; a brother, Jim McKeen, Kamloops, B.C. She was predeceased by her sisters, Marnie and Patricia. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to the Echo Fund of the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, through the funeral home or at www.sweenysfuneralhome.com.
