Evangeline Maude Meisner

92 of Lake Center, Lunenburg County, passed away May 29, 2002 in the Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay. Born in New Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Salome (Corkum) Wamback. She is survived by her son, Eugene (Shirley), Cookville; daughter, Lorna (Ray) Forward, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Sharon Nowe, Andrew Baker, Michael Baker, Larry Meisner and Lori-Ann Ross; 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; daughter, Emily Baker; son Arnold; an infant son, Merle; brother, Starratt; sisters, Olivia, Violet and Mary. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 1:30pm Saturday in the Pleasantville Baptist Church, Rev. Doug Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery. Family flowers only.
