Shirlen Lawrence Seamone
54,
of Midville Branch, Lunenburg County, passed away July 24, 2002 in the
South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Baker Settlement,
Lunenburg County, he was a son of Olive (Wentzell) Seamone of Baker
Settlement and the late Reginald Seamone. He was employed with the Town
of Bridgewater as the Chief of Police. He owned and operated Seamone’s
Meats in Midville Branch for several years. He was past president of
the Bridgewater Baseball Association. For several years he was involved
with EMO in Bridgewater; involved with Crime Prevention Association
as well as numerous other groups and associations in the province. Besides
his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kim (Lee); son, Blaine, Toronto;
grandson, Nickolaus, Ottawa; stepson, Tyler, at home; stepdaughter,
Latasha, Martins Point; a brother, Wendell (Judy), Blockhouse; sisters,
Joyce (Walter) Hayes, Colby Village; Shirlette Emino, Simpsons Corner.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Joan (Rafuse); sisters, Marlene
and Maritta. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm
in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be
held 2pm Saturday in St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Rev.
Willis Ott officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Pine Cemetery,
Upper Branch. A reception will follow. Family flowers only. In lieu
of flowers, memorials donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society
