Phyllis Geraldine Wilson (Angell)
78, of Bridgewater,
wife of the late Harold G. Wilson, passed away April 11, 2002 in the
South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Montreal, Quebec,
she was the daughter of the late John and Florence (Fulton) Angell.
Upon settling in Bridgewater, in 1963, she pursued a teaching career
in both Bridgewater and Newcombville Elementary schools. She was an
active volunteer in her church and community. She was recognized by
many for her artistic talents, namely her paintings rendered in oils
and watercolour. She is survived by daughters Linda Wilson, Yarmouth;
Diane Mitchell, Bridgewater, and son Richard Wilson, Digby; grandchildren
Vanessa Wilson, Halifax; Jared Mitchell, Calgary; and Travis Wilson,
Halifax. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday April 13, 2002 in
Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will he held
1 p.m. Sunday April 14, 2002 in the Bridgewater United Church, Rev.
Ivan Norton officiating with a reception to follow in the church parlour.
Interment in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only.
