Louis Joseph Belliveau

88, of Bridgewater, passed away June 13, 2003 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Little Brook, Digby County, he was a son of the late Adolphe and Cédulie (Dugas) Belliveau. He was owner and operator of Belliveau Car Sales Ltd. in Halifax, Middleton, Yarmouth and then Bridgewater. An avid golfer, he continued to play until the age of 85. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Blanche (Dugas); daughters, Judy Comeau (Bill Savoie), Brampton, Ontario; Yvonne (Laurie) Rafuse, Pleasantville; grandchildren, Jeff Comeau (Joanne Vanwell), Jill (Chris) Wagner, Daniel Rafuse; great grandson Noah Comeau. He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Emile, Leo and Raymond. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, with prayers being offered at 3:30pm. Funeral mass will be held 10am Monday in St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater, Father Michael Walsh officiating. Cremation will follow, with burial in St Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date. Following the funeral mass, a reception will be held in the parish hall. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the N.
