Catherine Eleanor "Kay" Eichel

79, of Bridgewater, passed away December 24, 2003 in the Q E II Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Danesville, she was a daughter of the late Amos and Elva (Naas) Hatt. She as a faithful member and volunteer of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater; charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch 24, Royal Canadian Legion, Bridgewater; member of the Oakhill and District Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by daughters, Doris (Ronald) Deamond; Donna (Gary) Greek, all of Oakhill; son, Danny (Linda), Hebbville; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; half sisters, Elaine (George) Hupman, Sommerville; Jeanette (Ralph) Walker, Middlewood; Brenda Joudrey, Maplewood; half brothers, Lorraine (Freda) Hatt, Mill Village; Amos (Suzanne) Hatt, Toronto; Maurice Hatt, Danesville; step sister, Phyllis Hamm, Danesville. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald and a brother, Lester. Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Monday in St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the N. S. Heart and Stroke Foundation; N.S. Diabetic Association, N. S. Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice.
