Robert Johnston Getson

72, of Petite Riviere, Lun. Co. passed away July 31, 2003 in the Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Earle and Frances (Johnston) Getson. He is survived by his common law wife, Palma (Oddo); sons, Byron, Ontario; Jeffrey, Digby; grandchildren, Robyn Getson and Sarah Getson; sister, Shirley Ann Allen, LaHave; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Lloyd Earle Getson. A memorial service will be held 11am Monday in St James Anglican Church, LaHave, Rev Gary Alcock officiating. Burial will follow in the Fort Point Cemetery, LaHave. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Harbour View Haven, Home for Special Care, Lunenburg or the charity of your choice. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
