Marjorie Pauline Hammond

82, of Bridgewater, passed away June 29, 2003 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Medford, Mass., U.S.A., she was a daughter of the late Hansen and Viola (Beardsley) Gates. She is survived by her husband, Richard; son, Don (Janet) Calhoun, Bridgewater; daughter, Donna Hammond and her husband James Secord, Hanwell, N.B.; grandchildren, Julie and Holly Calhoun, both of Halifax; a brother, Guilford (Blossom) Gates, Kentville. She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Calhoun; brothers, Cortland, Ralph; sister, Dorothy McHugh. A memorial service will be held 2pm Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev. Pat Gow officiating. Burial in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Family flowers only.
