Ella May Hintz

103, of Mahone Bay, Lunenburg County, formerly of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully with loving staff members and special friend Shirley Leet at her bed side on October 7, 2003 in the Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay. Born in Waterloo, Lunenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Wisewell and Ida May (Wile) Wile. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her half sisters, Rhea Cleversey and Norma Hines, both of Halifax and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley D. and several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. After visitation, funeral arrangements will be transferred to Fairchild Funeral Home, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Graveside service will take place in Lauderdale Memorial Gardens, Florida. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mahone Nursing Home Van Fund.
