Lloyd Earl Meisner
83,
of Newcombville, Lunenburg County, passed away March14, 2003 in the
Veterans Unit of the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born
in Newcombville, he was a son of the late Burton and Novella (Zwicker)
Meisner. He was a veteran of the Second World War and a member of Branch
24, Royal Canadian Legion, Bridgewater. He is survived by sons, Ray
(Iris), James (Shirley), all of Newcombville; grandchildren, Lori, Matthew,
Glenn, Braden, Kari and Hannah; great grandchildren, Hailey and Mickelty;
a sister, Grace Garber, Newcombville. He was predeceased by his wife,
Mary (Veinot); sisters, Elsie and Doris. Visitation will be held Sunday
from 7 to 9 pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater where a public
legion tribute service will be held at 7pm. Funeral service will be
held 11am Monday in All Saints Lutheran Church, Newcombville, Rev. Willis
Ott officiating. Burial will follow in the Newcombville Cemetery. Family
flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to
Veterans Unit of the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, All Saints
Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice. Online condolences may
