Diane Frances Nicholson

Of Bridgewater, It is with sadness we announce the death of Diane Nicholson, November 15, 2003 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Hacketts Cove, March 21, 1943 and residing in Bridgewater the last twenty years, she was a daughter of Mildred McLennan, Bridgewater, and the late Douglas McLennan. Diane fought a courageous battle and will be greatly missed by her children, Sherrie Brenton, Bridgewater; Michele Nicholson (Chris Arenburg), Halifax; Claude Nicholson, Amherst. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Claudia and Douglas Brenton, Bridgewater; sisters, Florence (Gordie) Isnor, Bedford; Carolyn Moore, Bedford; brother, Brian (Karen) McLennan, St. Albert, Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Nicholson, a brother, John McLennan; companion, Gary Mailman. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater, Archdeacon John Clarke officiating. Cremation will follow the service, with family committal in St. Peters Anglican Cemetery, Hacketts Cove.
