Lillian Beatrice Oickle

90, of Bridgewater, passed away December 10, 2003 in the Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater. Born in Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Bessie (Loder) Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Maria (Aubrey) Corkum-Harding, Shelburne; grandson, Peter Corkum, Bridgewater; brother, Roger (Merlene) Cross, Dartmouth; foster brother, Ross Whynot, Lunenburg County; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold; sisters, Margaret Herman, Mary Croft. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Pastor Beth Wagschal officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, N.S. Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
