Brenton Kenneth Penney

54 of Watford, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2003 in Watford. Born in Watford, he was a son of the late Elmer and Jean (Knox) Penney. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 102, New Germany; Mic Mac Rod and Gun Club, Pinehurst; past member of the New Germany and Area Lions Club. Surviving are his finance, Dawn Whynot; daughter Kari-Lynn Jean Penney, Branch LaHave. Sister, Carla (Roger) Carver, New Germany; brothers, Darrell (Faye), Kingston; Kent (Susan), Pinehurst. Sister in law, Evelyn Penney, New Germany. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Marilyn Penney, Cheryl Jones; brother Calvin. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m., Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany where a legion tribute service will be at 6:30 p.m. Funeral service 11 a.m., Wednesday in Epworth United Church, New Germany. Rev. Joan Conrad officiating. Burial of ashes will follow in Indian Brook Cemetery, Barss Corner. Family flowers only, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, or to the family.
