Violet Isabel Seamone

86, of Bridgewater, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2003 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lunenburg, she a daughter of the late Freeman and Ada Mae (Smith) Corkum. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughters, Barbara (Larry) Lunn, Port Medway; Brenda (David) Hopkins, West LaHave; son, John (Evelyn) Seamone, New Elm; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley; sister, Hilda (Knickle); brothers, George, Victor, Bert, Hector, Frank, Arthur, Freeman; 2 sets of twins who died in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A family committal service will be held at the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater on Monday at 2pm, Father Robert Coote officiating. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater or the Shaid Tree Animal Shelter
