Dorothy Elizabeth Smicer

88, of Hebbs Cross, Lunenburg County, passed away January 10, 2002 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Danesville, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Emma Whynot. She is survived by sons, Ivan (Lillian), Hebbs Cross; Max (Iris), Hebbville; daughter, Shirley (Edwin) Albert, Halifax; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Leatha Connolly, Liverpool; Kaye Young, Western Shore. She was predeceased by her husband William; sister, Ada; brothers, Percy, Pearl, George and Robert. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 8pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2:30pm Tuesday in Calvary Lutheran Church, Middlewood, Rev. Sharron Reykdal officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family flowers only.
