Jean Evelyn Smith

72, of West LaHave, Lun. Co., passed away August 5, 2003 in the Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Minnie (Cook) Conrad. She is survived by her husband, Gerald; sons, David (Tara) of Milton and children, Jillian and Chelsea; Bobby Franklyn (Yvonne Hanson), Dartmouth and children Nadja and Yolanda; brother, Rev. Arthur (Gen) Conrad, Ottawa; sisters, Phyllis (Fred) Proudfoot, Kentville; Alice (Robert) Stalker, Ottawa. She was predeceased by a brother, Rev. Arnold Conrad; sisters, Alexis in infancy and Margaret Fritze. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2pm Friday in West Side United Church, Pentz, Rev Sally McShane officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only.
