Stuart Charles Wagner

80, Falkland Ridge, Annapolis Co., passed away Saturday, September 13, 2003 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Falkland Ridge, he was a son of the late Frederick and Florence (Brown) VanBuskirk and the adopted son of the late Anthony and Myrtle Wagner. He was a member of the Falkland Ridge Baptist Church, Falkland Ridge and the Falkland Ridge Senior Citizens Club. As a hobby, he enjoyed woodworking, especially folk art. Surviving are his step daughters, Mary (Dr. Fred Akin), Windsor; Marjorie (Harold) Corkum, Dartmouth; Estella (Terry) Veinot, Monestery; Gloria (Owen) Zinck, Falkland Ridge. Step sons, Leonard (Reiko) Gallant, Kingston; Paul (Patricia) Gallant, Nanaimo, B.C. Sister, Marjorie VanBuskirk, West Dalhousie, brothers, Allan VanBuskirk, Alberta; Ronald VanBuskirk, Melvern Square. 20 step grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife the former, Hallie Arlington Wiles. A sister, Pauline Spencer; brother, Douglas VanBuskirk. Visitation for family and friends will b e 7 – 9 p.m., Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, #4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m., Tuesday in Falkland Ridge Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial will follow in the Falkland Ridge Cemetery.
