Harry LeRoy Wentzell

95, of Bridgewater, passed away January 26, 2003 at home. Born in Baker Settlement, he was a son of the late Reuban and Annie (Frauzel) Wentzell. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater and had been employed with Canada Packers in Bridgewater for most of his life. He is survived by a son, John (Sharon) Wentzell, Bridgewater; a daughter, Lillian (Clyde) Boyd, Mahone Bay; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Maude (Weagle); a brother, Austin Wentzell; sisters, Nellie Creaser, Edith Gonzas and Lillian Hirtle. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, Rev. James Slack Jr. officiating assisted by Rev. Willis Ott. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Red Cross, Home Care Services, Victorian Order of Nursing, Lunenburg County Division or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater.
