100, Crescent Beach, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2004 in Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay, where she had been residing. Born on Bush Island, she was a daughter of the late Theophilus and Deliah (Bush) Wilkie. Surviving are daughter, Audrey (Alan) Hopkins, Dayspring, sister Muriel Hartman, Mount Pleasant, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great- great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest Baker; sons, Theodore “Ted”, Ernam and one in infancy, brother Henry. No visitation by request. Funeral 11 a.m., Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Rev. Sally McShane officiating. Burial will follow in the Peaceful Hill Cemetery, Mount Pleasant.
