56, Simpsons Corner, Lunenburg Co., passed away at home on Friday, May 7, 2004. She was a daughter of Etta Samms of Codroy, NL and the late Walter Samms. Surviving are her husband Joe and son Jason, Simpsons Corner. Sisters, Ann Wood (Don), Kingston, Ont., Sheila Aucoin (Frank), Fort McMurray, Alb.; Marlene Courtney (Claude), Codroy, Nfld.; Debbie Downey (Terry), Doyles, Nfld. Several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 11 a.m., Wednesday in Union Church, Simpsons Corner. Rev. Tom Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Simpsons Corner. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, VON, Palliative Care of Health Services.
