Evelyn Crouse

93, of Mahone Bay Nursing Home, Mahone Bay, formerly of Bridgewater, passed away July 25, 2004 in the home. Born December 25, 1910 in Voglers Cove, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Hilda Hall. She was a member of St Pauls Lutheran Church, Bridgewater; a former member of Rebecca Lodge where she was Past Noble Grand and had received her 50 year jewel. Evelyn was a gifted singer and enjoyed sharing her musical talents with others. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her niece, Marion (Ted) Browne, Bridgewater; nephew George (Elaine) Hall, Halifax; 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbert J. Crouse and her brother, Russell Hall. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A public graveside service will be held 11am Thursday in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater, Pastor Beth Wagschal officiating. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mahone Nursing Home Van Fund, Mahone Bay or the charity of your choice.
