Guy Henry Ernst

77, Farmington, Lunenburg Co., passed away, Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at the Barkhouse Residence, Nineveh, with his family by his side. Born in Farmington he was a son of the late James and Ethel (Sperry) Ernst. He was a well known carpenter and enjoyed being a Christmas tree grower. Surviving are his daughters, Wendy (Gary) Mailman, Winnipeg; Wanda (Brian) Beattie, Dalhousie; Geraldine Lockhart, Ontario; Penny (David) Myler, Canaan, Lunenburg Co.; Bonnie (Tommy) Meldrum, Mt. Uniacke; son, Randy Ernst (Della), New Germany. Sister, Roxie Ernst, Granville Ferry; half brother, Marshall (Shirley) Drew, Berwick. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren; several aunts, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son, Ricky. Visitation for family and friends will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany and where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Bruce Barkhouse officiating. Burial will follow in Barss Corner Community Cemetery, Barss Corner. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of choice.
