Florence Helen (Kowalczyk) Hebb

88, passed away, Saturday, February 7, 2004 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, after a long and courageous battle with congestive heart failure. She is survived by her children, Cheryl (John) Fancy; Edward (Sharon) Hebb, all of Conquerall Mills; Richard (Jeannette), Dayspring. Grandchildren, Bret Fancy, Shawn Fancy, Craig Fancy, Colin Fancy and Jessica Hebb; six great grandchildren. Two brothers, John Kowalczyk, John McLean, Sydney Forks. Sisters, Rose Marchand, Stella Cameron, Vicky O’Hagen, Elizabeth Vassello, Jennie Horne and Cecilia McInnis. She was predeceased by her mother, Victoria (Gavinda) and father Stanley Kowalczyk, a brother Joseph and sisters, Mary Ross and Sophie Wamboldt and husband Lemuel Bernard Franklin Hebb. She was employed at the Shamrock Store for over twenty years and was known to her co-workers as “Sally”. No flowers or visitation by request. Memorial service 11 a.m., Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Burial in Hebbville Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Conquerall Mills or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
