Edith Marguerite Himmelman

95, of Bridgewater, passed away August 9, 2004 at home in Bridgewater. Born in Riverport, she was a daughter of the late Capt. E. Freeman and Edith (Myra) Himmelman. For many years Marguerite worked as a clerk in the family business E. F. Himmelman and Sons but due to her mother’s ill health she then gave up work to help care for her mother. Marguerite is an honorary member of the Atlantic Rebecca Lodge No. 52 I.O.O.F. of Bridgewater. She is survived by sister, June Cooper, of Bridgewater; a niece, Ann (Frank) Gonzalez; two nephews, Dr. John (Helga) Himmelman; Dr. Donald (Edythe) Himmelman. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary, Pearl; brothers, Henry, Robert and James. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral service will be held 10:30am Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
