Ida Amelia Nauss

85, Middlewood, Lunenburg County. Friends and relatives of Ida Amelia Nauss were deeply saddened to hear of her sudden death on August 24, 2004 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Ida was born in Lunenburg on March 21, 1919, the daughter of the late Mamie (Meisner), Lunenburg and Leander Lopez, formerly from Portugal. She is survived by a half brother, Charlie Whynot, Middlewood; half sisters, Hazel Snyder, Oakhill; Myrtle Wamboldt, Dartmouth. She was predeceased by her husband Evan Arthur Nauss; son, Terrance Michael and a brother Leander Lopez. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 1:30pm Saturday in the Ascension Lutheran Church, Conquerall Mills, Rev Paul Jensen officiating. Burial will follow in the Ascension Lutheran Cemetery. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Calvary Lutheran Church, Middlewood or the Ascension Lutheran Cemetery Fund.
