Lillian Kathleen O'Brien

91, of Mount Pleasant, passed away September 2, 2004, in Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Mount Pleasant, she was a daughter of the late John and Julia (Himmelman) Huey. Kathleen was a former member of W. A. of the Mount Pleasant United Church; a member of New Dublin Golden Pioneers Senior Citizen’s Club and a member of the West Side United Church. She was a avid card player and enjoyed fishing. She is survived by a son John (Cathy), Mount Pleasant; daughter Judith (Harold) McIsaac, Mount Pleasant; step-daughter Patricia, Halifax; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister Myra Creaser, Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg, formerly of Pentz. She was predeceased by her husband James; a brother Glen and sisters Mae Johnson and Grace Corkum. Visitation will be held 7-9pm Sunday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday in the West Side United Church, Pentz, with Nancy Ritchie officiating. Interment will follow in the United Church Cemetery, Mount Pleasant. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the West Side United Church; Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg; or to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Mount Pleasant.
