Harry Otto Rhodenizer
Of
Dayspring passed away Wednesday, June 02nd 2004 at South Shore Regional
Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Dayspring, March 05th 1927, he was the
son of the late Clarence and Blanche (Taylor) Rhodenizer. In his early
years he served in the Merchant Marines during World War ll. He worked
in the lumberyard then went to sea as a fisherman until his early retirement
at age 60 yrs. He was also a past member of the Elks Club in Bridgewater.
He is survived by sons Keith (June), Michael (Rhonda), Ross (Darlene)
and Kerry (Tilly); daughters Linda (Darren) Zinck and Sheila (Eugene)
Herman, grandchildren Jamie (Dawn) Whynot, Shelley (Jeff Bollivar) Whynot,
Jodi-Lynn (Johnny) Nauss, Lori-Lee Herman, Shannon Rhodenizer, Matthew
& Emma Rhodenizer, Nathan & Joan Zinck, Jonathan and Christopher
Rhodenizer, Aaron Marshall. Great-grandchildren Courtney Whynot, Kristie
& Jaron Bollivar and Jenna Nauss. Brothers Burton Ont., Walter Dayspring,
sister Florence Holman Dartmouth. He was predeceased by his wife Joan
(Selig), son Bruce, daughter Gail, brother Robert and sister Ruth Wentzell.
The body is being cremated under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral
Home, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by
his request. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday June
5th at the Dayspring cemetery with Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Flowers
from the immediate family only. Memorial donations may be made to IWK
Children’s Hospital or charity of choice. Online condolences may
