Carl George Stewart
74,
of Camperdown, Lunenburg County, passed away at home on Friday, December
03, 2004 after a strong and courageous battle with cancer. Born
in Camperdown, he was the son of the late George and Effie (Sarty) Stewart.
He was a hard worker all his life. His many trades were woodsman, trapper,
truck driver and farmer. He started working in the woods at the age
of 12. His greatest passions were hunting, trapping and tending to the
orchard that he and Dolly planted. He is survived by his faithful and
loving companion, Ellen “Dolly” Foley; sons, Dennis (Marjorie),
Wade (Claudette); daughters, Debbie and Gale; his first wife, Hazel,
all of Camperdown; grandchildren, Wayne Stewart, Michelle Cudmore, Nicole
Stewart and Crystal Stewart-Smith; four great grandchildren; brother,
Harvey (Janet), Springhill; sisters, Lillian Harmon, Bridgewater; Elva
(Carmen) Naugler, Camperdown. He was predeceased by his second wife,
Belva; son, Larry; daughters, Linda, Janet, Kathy, Sandra; brothers,
James, Bruce, Kenneth, Russell; sisters, Carrie, Pearl, Stella. Visitation
will be held Sunday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
Funeral Service will be held 11am Monday in Christ Lutheran Church,
Camperdown, Rev Paul Jensen officiating. Burial will follow in the Christ
Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Online condolences
