The Reverend Charles E. Taylor

71 of LaHave Islands, Lunenburg County, passed away September 21, 2004 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax, V.G. Site. Born in Toledo, Ohio, he was a son of the late Stanley and Margaret (Sutch) Taylor. He was ordained in 1961 in the Presbyterian Church, USA, and served as Pastor in Waddington, NY; Ramsey NJ; Rochester NY; and Springhill Pastoral Charge. At the time of his death he was the Synod Pastor of the Atlantic Provinces Presbyterian Church of Canada and was also an elder of St. Matthew’s Presbyterian Church, West Dublin. He is survived by his wife, the former Ann (Brooks); daughter Susan (Craig) and grandson, Stephen Rhodenizer, all of Rochester, NY; a brother Howard Taylor, New Hampshire; a sister Margaret Walther, Tennessee. Visitation will be held Friday from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday in Knox Presbyterian Church, Dublin Shore with Rev. Lawrence Mawhinney officiating. Cremation will follow. Interment will be in Bells Island Cemetery at a later date. Family flowers only.
