Stella May Bushen

90, of Bridgewater, passed away December 21, 2005 in the Happy Home for Seniors, Petite Riviere. Born in Petite Riviere, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Eva (Himmelman) Crouse. She is survived by daughter, Shirley (Elliott) MacKinnon; son, Melvin (Judy) Bushen, all of Bridgewater; 2 grandchildren, Tyler Bushen; Neil (Leanne) MacKinnon; 1 great granddaughter, Breagh MacKinnon; brother, Lyland, Conn., USA. She was predeceased by her husband, Byron; sisters, Viola Publicover, Gladys Fralick, Daisy Weagle; brothers, Cedric, Erlin, Cecil, Clarence, Garth. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 10:30 am Friday. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Flowers accepted. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of N. S. or the Canadian Cancer Society.
