85, West LaHave, Lunenburg Co. passed away 23 January 2005 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in West LaHave, he was a son of the late Louis and Ethel (Corkum) Corkum. He is survived by his wife Beulah (Knickle); sons Wade (Judy), Pleasantville; Max (Karen), Wileville; Cyril (Sharon), Bridgewater; Charles, Halifax; Robert (Gail), Bridgewater; Peter (Sherrie), Fancy Lake; daughters Diane (Keith) Roache, Lockport; Marina (Carol) Selig, Halifax; brother Wallace (Reta), Church Point; sister Mona, Baker Settlement; 16 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a half brother Clarence and sisters Sadie and Kathleen. A memorial service will be held 2 pm Wednesday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Cookville, Mr. Ron Miller officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Cookville. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request.
