Willis Lorraine Dorey

74, of Bridgewater, passed away May 13, 2005 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Tracey and Laura (Hatt) Dorey. He is survived by his common law wife, Thelma Kelly; daughters, Laura Lee (Philip) Metzger, Halifax; Suzanne Dorey; son, Scott, Red Deer, Alberta; stepdaughters, Kelli (Jim) Veinot, Wentzell Lake; Jaci Kelly, Halifax; stepsons, Dwight Kelly, Halifax; Todd Kelly, Amherst; sisters, Barbara Brown, Irene Dorey, Mary (Alfred) Farmer, all of Bridgewater; Pauline (Arnold) Miller, South Berwick; several grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Andrew, Merle, Donald; a sister in infancy. A public graveside service will be held 11am Monday in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater, Father Ron Appleton officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Immediate family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the N. S. Heart and Stroke Foundation.
