Ralston Lyle Eisener
79,
Of Farmington, Lunenburg County, passed away on Thursday, December 15,
2005 in North Queen’s Nursing Home, Caledonia, where he had been
residing with his wife Vivian. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the
late Ezra and Nellie (Myers) Eisener. Ralston was a member of Barss
Corner United Baptist Church, where he served as a past deacon as well
as on many other committees and boards. He was a past member of the
Lunenburg County Christmas Tree Producer’s Association and past
director of New Germany and Area Medical Centre. During his working
years, he was a self employed dairy farmer and Christmas tree producer.
Ralston was very active in all aspects of his community. Surviving are
his wife of 58 years, the former Vivian Arlene DeLong; sons, Lyle (Brenda),
West Northfield; Ray (MaryAnne), Timberlea; Arden (Sharon), Cookville;
Earlen (Janet), Farmington. 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren;
brother, Judson, Wolfville and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased
by sister, Joyce Beck. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. today (Friday) in
Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 1:30
p.m. Saturday in Barss Corner United Baptist Church, Barss Corner. Rev.
Vaughn Henshaw officiating, Rev. Jennifer Joudrey, assisting. Private
family burial to follow in Barss Corner Community Cemetery. Immediate
family flowers only, donations may be made to Barss Corner United Baptist
Church, North Queen’s Nursing Home or charity of choice. Online
