93, New Germany, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2005
in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in New Germany,
she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Mary (Robar) Whynot. She
was a member of St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church and New Germany
New Horizons Senior Citizens Club, New Germany. May was an avid bingo
player for many years. She is the last surviving member of her immediate
family. Surviving are her daughters, Pearl (Edgar) Russell, New Germany;
Doretha (Doug) Gaul, New Minas. Son, Aubrey (Sylvia) Ernst, Dartmouth;
son in law, Bradford Russell, Simpsons Corner. Grandchildren John Ernst,
Rona Russell, Debbie Harlow, Wade Russell, Gary Russell, Donald Russell,
Gordon Russell, Barbara Jensen. 7 great grandchildren, 3 great great
grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her
husband Edward Charles Ernst; daughter, Leola Russell; sister, Maud
Morton; brothers, Oran and Morrel. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Friday
in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral
11 a.m. Saturday in St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, New
Germany. Rev. Tom Henderson officiating, private family burial will
follow in the church cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be
made to New Germany and Area Medical Centre, St. John in the Wilderness
