Kevin Rodney Fancy

48, of Bridgewater, formerly of Hebbville, Lunenburg County, passed away peacefully Thursday March 24, 2005 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of Leaman and Lillian (Miller) Fancy, Hebbville. Kevin’s life was challenged by Muscular Dystrophy, but it didn’t break his spirit or faith. He was an active member of the St. James Anglican Church, Conquerall Mills until he was hospitalized three years ago. Besides his parents, Kevin is survived by a sister Rae (Sylvain) Fancy- Plante. He was predeceased by a baby brother, paternal grandparents Stephen and Viola Fancy and maternal grandparents Lorne and Helen Miller. Visitation will be held Monday, March 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held at 10:30am Tuesday, March 29 in St. James Anglican Church, Conquerall Mills, Rev. Ron Appleton officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Conquerall Mills or the Muscular Dystrophy Association. A reception will follow at the Conquerall Mills Community Hall.
