Dr.
Anthony John Martin Griffiths
Griffiths, Dr. Anthony John Martin - 86, died on June
26, 2005 at home in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. The beloved husband of
the late Monica (Kemp) Griffiths. Born
June 24, 1919 in London, England, he graduated from the Middlesex Hospital
Medical School, University of London in October 1944. After a year of
rotating internship he spent three years as a Ship Surgeon (Union Castle
Line) following which he took a specialist degree in Radiology. He emigrated
to Canada with his family in 1952, initially living in Alberta before
later moving to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. He was an avid reader
and miniaturist. He donated the dolls house he and his wife built and
furnished to Sherbrooke Village Restoration in Nova Scotia where it
is on permanent display. Past Master (1963) of the Zetland Lodge #9
GRNS; past president (1966) of the Medical Society of Nova Scotia. He
is fondly remembered by his son, Andrew (Lynn) and his daughters, Sheila
Fielding, Jennifer Griffiths (Douglas Margison) and Victoria Keith (Charles).
Loving grandfather to Craig, Laura, Stephanie, Adam, Joanna, Gordon,
Susan and Melissa. At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral.

(Historic Village Development Society, P O Box 87, Sherbrooke, N.S.
B0J 3C0), Canadian Red Cross or the charity of your choice would be
