94, Chelsea, Lunenburg Co., passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2005 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Chelsea, he was a son of the late Elijah and Bertha (Baker) Henley. Surviving are his wife the former Beatrice (Beck). Daughter, Genevieve Bond, Chelsea; son, Mervin (Madeline), Chelsea. Daughter in law, Emily Henley, Bridgewater. 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson. Brothers, Borden (Mildred); Irving (Fayette), all of Chelsea. Numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son, Harold; son in law Virgil Bond; brothers, Walter, Hazen, Kenneth, Harry, Edmond, Avon, Purl, Nahum; sister, Ida. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday in Chelsea Baptist Church, Chelsea. Private burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Chelsea Baptist Church, Chelsea Fire Department or charity of choice.
