Hilda Idella Joudrey

84, Upper Northfield, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 in Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay, where she had been residing. Born in Newburne, she was a daughter of the late Ozem and Flossie (Dorey) Naas. Surviving are daughters, Myrtle (Donald) Andrews, Oakland; Judith (Arthur) Hamm, Maders Cove; son, William (Judy) Joudrey, Upper New Cornwall. Grandchildren, Darlene (Keith) Oickle, Sheila (Paul) Barkhouse, Brian (Kristina) Andrews, Charles Joudrey, Diana Joudrey. Great grandchildren, Gregory Oickle, Kimberley Oickle, Cody Barkhouse, Justin Barkhouse, Brianna Andrews. Sister, Helen Joudrey, Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Archibald Joudrey, brother, Ronald Naas. Visitation will be 7 – 9 p.m. Saturday and funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Rev. David Maginley officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield. Immediate family flowers only, donations may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or charity of choice.
